Bowling Green, Ohio The Bowling Green State University men's and women's cross country teams will be competing at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals Friday, hosted by the University of Wisconsin.

Redshirt freshman Rachel Walny was named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year this weekend at the MAC Championships. She has had a stellar cross country season thus far. At the championships Walny placed fifth overall with a time of 21:06.90.
