Bowling Green, Ohio Redshirt senior Brooke Pleger opened the 2015 outdoor track and field season by throwing the hammer further than any collegian has this year. For her efforts in leading the BGSU Track & Field team to a 103-96 win over Toledo, she has earned the Mid-American Conference's Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is the eighth time in her career that she has earned the award (seven time during outdoor season and once in indoor).
