Eugene, Ore. Bowling Green State University redshirt senior Brooke Pleger has been named the Great Lakes Region Field Athlete of the Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Pleger is one of nine regional winners with the Great Lakes Region encompassing 34 schools across the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. She also earned the award a year ago and is the only Falcon to ever be honored with a USTFCCCA Region Athlete of the Year award.
