Bowling Green State University redshirt junior Brooke Pleger will throw the hammer for a chance at a national championship on Wednesday in Eugene, Ore. A record-smashing two-time Mid-American Conference champion, Pleger's accomplishments say volumes about her, but her journey to this point is just as impressive as any of those feats or what might happen this week.
